Have you heard?! The Global Roundup is coming back to Austin this summer and it’ll be even better than last year. For those of you who joined us in the last year, the 3DS Global Roundup is our annual conference that brings the tribe of past participants, organizers, mentors, and panelists together in one place for a weekend of networking, learning, and breakfast tacos. Tickets for 3DS alumni are just $50 and are selling fast. Here are the top 3 reasons you should get to Austin July 8th – 10th.
- Networking. One of the goals of a 3 Day Startup program is to help you expand your network, on campus and in the entrepreneurial community at large. There’s no better way to meet hundreds of awesome fellow 3DSers than attending the Global Roundup. You’ll definitely make new friends, and you just might meet your co-founder, a rockstar developer, or the designer of your dreams. Additionally, you’ll get to network with professionals who have founded their own companies as well as investors who will give you feedback on your ideas. On top of that, you get to meet the 3DS leadership team who makes it all happen!
- Learning. While we pack as much as we can into your 72 hour program with us, we know that there’s even more you need to know to take your startup to the next level. Global Roundup will be full of great workshops focused on topics that pick up where a regular program leaves off. You’ll learn how to email investors, how to design an eye-catching landing page, how to land your first customer, and more! (P.S., do you have an idea for another workshop? Submit it here!)
- Austin. Recently named America’s next boomtown by Forbes, Austin is a great place to continue learning about entrepreneurship. Most of the Global Roundup events take place at Capital Factory, Austin’s “center of gravity for entrepreneurs,” which also happens to be centrally located in our downtown area. You’ll get your fill of good weather, breakfast tacos, live music, and a perfect introduction to Austin’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
