3 Day Startup is proud to announce that it has partnered with the US Embassy Vienna for a fourth year to run the Austria to Austin Student Startup Exchange Program! ATA 4.0 will impact over 150 Austrian students through an in-country ATA Roadshow as well as the ATA Exchange!

The ATA 4.0 Exchange is an immersive entrepreneurship experience that brings 20 standout Austrian students to Austin, TX for two weeks. During the exchange, participants start early-stage companies in the 3DS Foundations program, attend the 3DS Global Roundup Conference to network with our international community, gain exposure to the Austin entrepreneurship ecosystem, work alongside mentors to develop their entrepreneurial skills, and of course experience some Texas fun! The exchange equips participants with the skills to create sustainable ventures, launch social impact initiatives, develop local ecosystems, and expand Austria’s entrepreneurial perspective.

The ATA 4.0 Roadshow is a reverse-exchange, where 3DS team members travel to a range of Austrian entrepreneurship ecosystems. The ATA Roadshow allows 3DS to greatly increase the impact of the Austria to Austin exchange program by growing the community and strengthening partnerships. During the ATA Roadshow, we’ll reconnect with ATA alumni and foster the community the exchange has created throughout Austria. We’ll also get to meet new students and deliver immersive entrepreneurship education to those unable to attend the exchange. Lastly, we will meet with Austrian stakeholders to discuss how our local entrepreneurship ecosystems can support each other to foster international collaboration.

Over the past three years, we have been continuously amazed at the successes of ATA alumni. From earning PhDs at internationally acclaimed universities to scaling startups throughout Europe to spearheading social impact initiatives, they have emerged as Austria’s fearless leaders and changemakers. A huge thank you to our community stakeholders, the 3DS network, and the US Embassy in Vienna for supporting the ATA program as it grows.

Now it’s time to get to work! We hope you follow along this spring and summer as we continue to build bridges of innovation between Austin and Austria!
